In case you didn’t hear my screams from NOLA

Meda White

Last weekend, I attended Author Reader Con (ARC) in New Orleans, LA (NOLA). There were several fun events like the Cowboy Roundup Dance and author panels discussing industry business, as well as a book signing and BTS Red Carpet Awards.

My amazingly talented and beautiful sister accompanied me as my stylist because every gal walking the red carpet needs to have her hair did.

Here are a few photos from our adventures in the Big Easy:

There was Bourbon Street, a Historical Tour, and cover models.

Then we had everyone’s favorite cowboys and tons of books for signing.

Big hair, sparkly dress, my favorite boots, stars on the red carpet…

But the highlight of the evening was this:

My debut novel, Play With My Heart, won the BTS Red Carpet Award

for Best Contemporary Romance.

I received this gorgeous crystal star trophy courtesy of BTS eMagazine.

MWhite Award

Posing with my prize and being careful not to drop it and lose a toe.

Thank you to everyone who voted to get Play With My Heart to the final round and thanks to the BTS staff who selected it from among some stiff competition. Hugs.
