On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…Elf, my new favorite Christmas move. The first Christmas I asked for this movie, Hubba-luv couldn’t find it. He claimed they were sold out everywhere. He was telling the truth, because while I shopped for his favorite Christmas movie, I checked around town to be sure. So, this is what happened that year when we opened our presents.
The next year, I finally got Elf. I love this movie for a whole bunch of reasons, none of which involve seeing Will Ferrell in tights. 😉 Buddy’s childlike enthusiasm is infectious and it has great lines.
“I just like to smile. Smiling’s my favorite.”
“You smell like beef and cheese. You don’t smell like Santa.”
“He’s an angry elf.”
I could go on like this all day, but I won’t. If you need some Christmas Spirit, watch Elf, laugh along, and try some maple syrup on your spaghetti. Or you could try this…
